Die Übung gehört in folgenden Studiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:
- Inhalt
- The age of armchair linguistics gave way to experimental linguistics long ago. More and more researchers employ sophisticated experimental techniques to obtain insightful results, be it in classroom research, psycholinguistics, etc. One is not only interested in what we process but also how we process it. For that, more precise and elaborate methods should be employed. Thus, this course will be helpful for those who want to learn to design their own experiments from scratch: posing the research questions, choosing the most appropriate methodology and techniques, building experiments in psycholinguistic software, analysing statistics using specialised tools, finally drawing conclusions gathered from the results. No prior knowledge of statistics is necessary.
