- Creativity, as a 21st century core skill, has become an international educational priority. This interactive, experiential seminar is dedicated to helping students develop and nurture their personal and professional creativity as future educators. This seminar will focus on nurturing creativity in the classroom, but will not be confined to classroom context. It will deepen and broaden students’ understanding of multifaceted creativity, introduce the best creativity-nurturing techniques and practices, and share the corresponding research on creativity. On completion of this seminar, the student will be able to:
identify creativity of different kinds and levels
apply creativity nurturing tools and techniques
design a creatively supportive environment/classroom
Format: Approximately 60% lecture, 40% group discussions and practice sessions.
Note: The lecture session will be conducted in English. Students can choose to participate in the group discussion and practice in both English and German.
