- Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches
- Aktueller Aushang zum Sommersemester 2018 (http://www.lhft.eei.uni-erlangen.de/lehre/aushang/dsr_aushang_ss18.pdf)
Voraussetzungen:
CW-Radar
Puls-Radar
Radaranwendungen (Nahbereichsradare, Kfz-Radarsysteme, Radar in der Flugsicherung)
Drahtlose Sensoren / Telemetrie
Radiofrequente Identifikation (RFID)
Funkortung

- The interaction between the earth's atmosphere, its surface and traffic objects therein with electro-magnetic waves in transmission, reflection and emission can be
utilized for the measurement of object and earth data as climatic parameters and their changes. The balance between natural sun in-radiation and earth's
ex-radiation, which for instance is stronger at microwave frequencies, is important here. This is fundamental for infrared and microwave
radiometry. On the other hand, the radar/lidar illuminates an object with coherent radiation and measures the parts reflected and scattered at
the object. Using a synthetic aperture for a microwave radar a resolution comparable with visual techniques is achievable even when
pictures are taken from satellites. Current results like global ozone distribution, glacier heights, changes in vegetation, e.g. from the data
transmitted by the environmental monitoring satellite ERS-1, are presented. Finally, spectrally resolved radiometry at Terahertz
frequencies as a measurement method for pollution and ozone in the stratosphere is explained.
