Inhalt
Success in second language (L2) acquisition is dependent on many different factors, which are often confounded. In this course, we will relate the findings of L2 studies that have examined these factors to the foreign language classroom, and we will discuss which learning environments have to be created in order to help students in an English foreign language (EFL) classroom to reach a high level of L2 proficiency. We will focus on the learning and teaching of grammar, vocabulary, phonology, pragmatics, listening and speaking skills as well as literacy skills. In addition, we will address topics such as language and the brain, language and memory and heterogeneity and inclusion in the EFL classroom.
