- Inhalt
- Notwithstanding the end of the Cold War, world politics is still heavily influenced by nation states’ concerns for power, security, and emerging challenges to the established international order. In order to enable students to comprehensively analyse the events on the stage of world politics, this seminar will provide a thorough introduction both to International Relations Theory (IRT) and Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA). Additionally, we will devote attention to the importance of both nuclear weapons and geography for world politics as well as more generally delve into an analysis of the causes of war and the conditions for peace among nation states.
