- In this lecture, students will get to know and discuss how economic, social, organizational and political processes shape inequality in modern societies. We will analyze how economic institutions, market forces and welfare states impact career opportunities and life chances of individuals. Students will be introduced to relevant theoretical concepts, research designs and empirical findings
