- Im Vertiefungsfach Handhabungs- und Montagetechnik wird die gesamte Verfahrenskette von der Montageplanung bis zur Inbetriebnahme der Montageanlagen für mechanische sowie elektrotechnische Produkte aufgezeigt. Einleitend erfolgt die Darstellung von Planungsverfahren sowie rechnergestützte Hilfsmittel in der Montageplanung. Daran schließt sich die Besprechung von Einrichtungen zur Werkstück- und Betriebsmittelhandhabung in flexiblen Fertigungssytemen und für den zellenübergreifenden Materialfluß an. Desweiteren werden Systeme in der mechanischen Montage von Klein- und Großgeräten, der elektromechanischen Montage und die gesamte Verfahrenskette in der elektrotechnischen Montage diskutiert (Anforderung, Modellierung, Simulation, Montagestrukturen, Wirtschaftlichkeit etc.). Abrundend werden Möglichkeiten zur rechnergestützten Diagnose/Qualitätssicherung und Fragestellungen zu Personalmanagement in der Montage und zum Produktrecycling/-demontage behandelt.

- Contents
- The lesson "Technology for handling and assembly" deals with the complete chain in planning and builting-up of assembly systems for mechanical and electronic devices. In the first chapter, tools for computer–aided planning in assembly are presented. Thereafter devices for the handling of parts and equipment of flexible manufacturing systems and material flow systems are discussed. Then systems for the assembly of small mechanical devices and complex products (e.g. cars) and the complete process chain in the assembly of electronic devices are presented (assembly tasks, requirements, structure of assembly systems, elements of flexible and modular–mounted systems, means of examples). Furthermore, topics like computer–aided diagnosis and quality assurance, personnel planning in manufacturing systems, economic efficiency of assembly systems and disassembly/recycling of products are presented.
