Inhalt
Content: 1. Theory: Interdisciplinary Innovations in Medical Engineering - What is an invention and what steps are needed to make it an innovation with focus on medical engineering? Real life examples, communication techniques for selling an idea, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship: Challenges and opportunities 2.Group brainstorming sessions on working on real life challenges from medical engineering especially on topics from 1. 3. Rapid Prototyping workshop on selected examples and best practices 4.Group project and presentation Compentence achievements: The main objective of the program is to develop out-of-the-box thinking for solving the most simple to the most complex real life problems in medical engineering. Interdisciplinary collaboration is needed in areas where complementary competences are necessary for not only implementation but also for conception. The program provides students and professionals a possibility to make use of the existing knowledge and resources for identifying and solving the problems in the medical engineering area.
