Prerequisites
  • basic maths, especially statistics
  • fundamentals of signal processing and machine learning

  • mid-level programming (Python, C# or similar)

  • fundamentals of experimental psychology

Contents
In the seminar, students will analyse, present and discuss research sub-topics in rehabilitation and assistive robotics. This includes the design, control and testing of prostheses, exoskeletons and exo-suits for rehabilitation, clinical robots to aid walking and muscular recovery, intelligent wheelchairs, etc.
Besides reflecting on contemporary literature, the students are asked to conclude and suggest directions for future research.
