Inhalt:

• Direkte Methode der Variationsrechnung

• Euler-Lagrange-Gleichung

• Konvexitätsbegriffe und Existenzsätze

• Sobolev-Räume

• Regularitätsaussagen

Lernziele und Kompetenzen:

Die Studierenden erlernen die wichtigsten Begriffe der klassischen Variationsrechnung, mit besonderem Gewicht auf dem mehrdimensionalen Fall.
