Empfohlene Voraussetzungen:
Grundkenntnisse über Operatoren auf Hilbertraeumen, wie sie in der Vorlesung Funktionalanalysis bereitgestellt werden.
Inhalt:
- von Neumann-Algebren (Bikommutantensatz, Projektionen) - Struktur kommutativer Algebren (Spektraltheorie)
Faktoren vom Typ I,II,III C*- Algebren, positive Funktionale, GNS-Konstruktion CCR und CAR-Algebra; Fockraumdarstellungen; Weylalgebra und Clifford-Algebren Automorphismengruppen und kovariante Darstellungen
Lernziele und Kompetenzen:
Die Studierenden erlernen den Umgang mit den zentralen Begriffen und Methoden der Operatoralgebren auf Hilbertraeumen. Dies befähigt sie insbesondere Zerlegungs- und Klassifikationsprobleme zu bearbeiten sowie Methoden aus den Bereichen Algebra und Funktionalanalysis in einen übergreifenden Kontext einzuordnen und dort anzuwenden.
