Inhalt:

Impact of quantum computers on currently used (public key) cryptosystems. Basic concepts of the main families of post-quantum cryptosystems

• Hash based Signature Schemes

• Lattice Based Cryptography

• Multivariate Cryptography

• Code Based Cryptography

Lernziele und Kompetenzen:

On successfully passing the course, the students should understand the impact of quantum computers on the security of currently used public key cryptosystems. Furthermore they should understand the basic concepts of the main families of post-quantum cryptosystems.
