Inhalt:

Automating Geographic Information System (GIS) workflows using a script language.

Lernziele und Kompetenzen:

The students

• have a deeper insight into GI-Systems.

• are familiar with a free & open source programming language.

• are able to use a script language to automate GIS workflows.

A series of practical exercises builds on each other throughout the course. Results of these exercises will develop from individual contributions and small-group work, and from a discussion with the whole group. Course attendance is therefore compulsory.
