Basic knowledge in functional analysis and numerical methods for pdes is recommended

Inhalt:

  • basics of image processing
  • deblurring using different partial differential equations

  • Finite Element Method for variational methods in image restauration and image segmentation

Lernziele und Kompetenzen:

Students

  • explain mathematical and algorithmic methods for image processing,

  • apply above image processing methods in computerised practical exercises,

  • apply analytical techniques to evaluate the qualitative characteristics of the above methods.
