- Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches
- Empfohlene Literatur
- Pharr et al.: Physically Based Rendering
- ECTS-Informationen:
- Title:
- Global Illumination
- Credits: 2,5
- Prerequisites
- No registration is required, just join the first lecture on April 28 for further information.
We assume that you have heard the lecture "Computer Graphics". Basic skills in C++ are required.
- Contents
- Global Illumination is a core topic of computer graphics. Goal is the simulation of global lighting effects, such as shadows, reflections, indirect light, caustics, etc. The lecture introduces to the theoretical foundations of global illumination and explains ray-tracing based techniques. Topics of the lecture are:
- Literature
- Pharr et al.: Physically Based Rendering
