Contents:

Die Vorlesung ist die Fortsetzung von "Detektoren fuer Teilchen und Strahlung" im WS 2018/19 und richtet sich an Studierende mit Interesse an der Physik von Detektoren. Es werden folgende Detektortypen behandelt: Halbleiterdetektoren, Szintillationsdetektoren, Kalorimeter, Detektoren zur Teilchen-Identifikation sowie grosse Detektorsysteme. Die Vorlesung setzt den Besuch des ersten Teiles nicht voraus.

The lecture gives a first introduction to the physics of neutrinos from an experimental and phenomenological perspective. While not mandatory, some background in particle physics will be useful.
