- Contents
- Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems have found widespread application in modern communications systems and enable order-of-magnitude increases in data rate and reliability compared to more traditional single-input single-output (SISO) systems. The goal of this course is to convey the fundamental mathematical and communication theoretical concepts necessary for the design and analysis of MIMO communication systems. Relevant topics include Spatial Multiplexing, Space-Time Coding, MIMO Transceiver Design, Multi-user MIMO, Relay-based MIMO, and applications in modern communication systems.
