- Die Independent Study Group gehört in folgenden Studiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:

- During this course, students will have the opportunity to get introduced to the various linguistic tools available for the analysis of English registers. Also, they will get to know how one could use online resources (corpora, software for machine analysis) to reveal the peculiarities of different kinds of texts. Then, after having implemented this knowledge in class, students will have the chance to choose and work on the type of texts they are interested in on their own, and present the results (gathered with the help of these tools) at the end of the semester.
As far as attendance is concerned, we are going to meet on a weekly basis first, afterwards - upon arrangement.
